Its called a Malaysian oil rig scam. Short version of story.sent me a message on tinder. Told me he lived In befordview and has been in an oil rig in Malaysia since January which is a lie. He was supposed to come home last weekend but his Nedbank bank account was blocked so I sent him 5k through ewallet for his driver to cash. The last 400 on me in cash, his driver came here to collect it. The moment it was done, none of their numbers worked again. Was trying to help him get back here. Sent lots of photos and messages but will never video call. When I asked him to, he stopped sending messages. I should know better but they were both good. I have reported him to tinder.
